Ellen was also a model for the September issue for Her Life Magazine. Ellen was a breath of fresh air and she owns her own business making all kinds of desserts and treats. The project was amazing, fun and filled with laughter. I cannot wait for Ellen to make me one of her delicious desserts.

I had the honor and pleasure of shooting this phenomenal woman for a photo shoot that I did for a local magazine, Her Life Magazine. Ms. Rose had her shoot all planned out and knew exactly what she wanted. She is doing big things in the DMV, and trust me when I say: She is a woman who is well put together and gets what she wants. Congratulations to Monique & Jason on their marriage! "Stunning and Glowing" plus "Smitten and Ready" and a baby in the oven makes three! These two are, by far, the sweetest couple I have worked with yet. Lucky in love and a match made in heaven, I don't think I have met a couple more made for each other. He adores her; and to her, he is her Knight and Shining Armor. I am so honored to have shared in their special day. Sitting down with Monique and Jason prior to the wedding day gave me so much insight in how to capture their wedding day. And it was an unforgettable event!

It brings me so much joy to see two people come together, and make the biggest commitment two people could possibly make to each other. Baby cousin Ebonee and Kenny make such a great couple. And I had the honor and pleasure, not to mention so much fun, shooting their wedding. I want to thank these two for including me on their wedding day. Atlantic Beach was so beautiful. Tonie & Larry are the sweetest couple you can ever work with. They needed a photographer at the last minute and I was more than happy to step in. This bride is beautiful, inside and out, and she so deserved to have her special day be over the top. You can tell these two are head-over-heels in love. They are an awesome couple. Princess Gabby!

Sugar and spice and everything nice! Princess Gabby is one of the most fun babies I have ever worked with. She was all smiles the entire shoot. This 7-month-old baby girl had her own personally designed photo shoot all dressed up in her Christening gown. Her mission was to be as cute as a button. And CUTE she was...She rolled, laughed and played. And not to mention, she gives out such sweet hugs and kisses! xoxoxo

Over 300 people rallied at the offices of the Department of Justice calling for a federal civil rights case against George Zimmerman after the Florida man was acquitted in the shooting death of an unarmed, black, 17-year-old teenager, Trayvon Martin.

Kevin Durant Gives Back

Prince George's County and the Seat Pleasant community honored NBA Player and native Prince Georgian Kevin Durant as he presented $150,000 to three different local community organizations and D.Geneva Photography was there to witness the entire generous act. The three organizations--Community Kinship Coalition, Inc.; Maryland Jaguars Youth Organization, and the Seat Pleasant Community Center (M-NCPPC)--each received a ceremonial check for $50,000. He received a warm welcome from children of the neighborhood, members of the community and local and political leaders.

Mario Barrett's Back-to-School Rally

This was an awesome event to work on. Singer Mario Barrett, from Baltimore, hired me to document his back-to-school rally and the entire event was unbelievable. It was exciting, fast paced, and everyone was energized...especially Mario. This Baltimore event really hit home for him because it was his hometown. Mario is a very cool and down-to-earth person. He really cares about the kids. Because of that, I would work for him any time.

Another assignment for the Prince George's Suite Magazine...This was a very exciting event. There were huge Beatles Fans everywhere and all of them were very open to having there pictures taken. I have never seen so much Beatles paraphernalia in my life!

This was my first assignment for the Prince George's Suite Magazine and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The weather was beautiful, which made for great lighting. The backdrop for this show was the beautiful National Harbor in Ft. Washington, Maryland right next to the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. It is absolutely amazing how much money, creativity, time and energy people put into their cars.
